Last week, Realme had hosted an event where they had launched a few products in China, among them the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition also known as the company’s first gaming smartphone. By the name only you can come to know that it’s an upgraded variant of the X50 Pro.

The official sale of the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition is taken place today in China. The company may be launching just two variants today including the 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM models. As for the pricing of the smartphone, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version is priced at 2,999 yuan (~$423), whereas the base model with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 2,699 yuan (~$380). The 12GB RAM and 128GB storage are priced at 3,299 yuan which is about $465, which is the top-end variant.

The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition has a similar design like the X50 Pro 5G which was recently launched in Europe. The phone comes with a 3D curved glass, curved waistline, and to provide a better grip, there is a higher coating technology with a new upgrade.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor with LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone features a 6.44-inch 20:9 Samsung E3 AMOLED HDR10+ display with 2400 x 1800 pixels screen resolution, a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio, support for a 90Hz refresh rate, and on the top of the screen, there is a dual punch-hole. To avoid heating up during extreme usage, the phone has a Gaming VC liquid cooling system.

In terms of camera, on the back of the phone, there is a quad-camera setup. There’s a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

For the selfies, it features a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone runs the Android 10 operating system with Realme UI on top and is powered by a 4,200mAh battery that has support for 65W SuperDart flash charge.
