Taking to its official account, Twitter announced that both iOS, as well as Android users, will now be able to view and upload 4K images when using the mobile Twitter apps.
A Twitter user can go to the Data Usage setting in the Twitter preferences and opt for high-quality images. This will enable them to view and upload images in 4K.
The social media giant has been testing higher resolution photo uploads with only a few Twitter users since Mar. The feature has now been made available to everyone.
Time to Tweet those high res pics –– the option to upload and view 4K images on Android and iOS is now available for everyone.
To start uploading and viewing images in 4K, update your high-quality image preferences in “Data usage” settings. https://t.co/XDnWOji3nx

You might have to wait for Twitter to roll out the new option to your phone. Alternatively, you can try updating the Twitter app via Google Play Store or App Store.
Once the option appears under the Data usage settings, you will be able to view and upload images having a resolution of up to 4096 x 4096 pixels on the Twitter mobile app.
