Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Characters Leaked? See Who Is Included In The Roster!

While two downloadable characters of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have already been revealed, a recently surfaced leak has reportedly spilled the beans on the rest of the four characters that were supposed to stay under wraps.

The rumor comes from a Japanese forum site 5Channel (via GearNuke) user Mr. Anonymous Desperate, who stresses that the remaining four fighters of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are as follows:

Erdrick (Dragon Quest series)

Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden)

Steve (Minecraft)

Doomguy aka The Marine (Doom series)

Furthermore, the leak suggests P5R will be made available to avid gamers in the first half of this year. It can be recalled that Atlus recently indicated that more shreds of information surrounding the Persona 5 R will be revealed in March this year.

Erdrick from the Dragon Quest series was slated to be made available in the game alongside Anlucia from Dragon Quest X and the Dragon Quest XI protagonist as Pallet Swaps. The report also indicated that more Dragon Quest games including the Dragon Quest XI S will be released in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch with Japanese video game company publishing XI S.

Keeping in line with that, it looks like Erdrick has a stronger chance of making an appearance as a DLC character. Ninja Gaiden series’ Ryu Hayabusa was also expected to be included. According to the post, the Ninja Gaiden series could see either a new game or a remaster as part of its 30th-anniversary project.

Steve from Minecraft, on the other hand, is expected to be announced at E3 2019, which kicks off in June. As far as Pallet Swaps are concerned, Steve will have Alex and Master Chief. Apparently, Steve was supposed to be a part of the main roster but is now planned to be released later this year in a bid to promote the DLC (downloadable content) from Minecraft Dungeons.

The first character to be listed in the report is Marine a.k.a. DOOM Guy, who is likely to be announced at this year’s E3. In terms of Paller Swap, Guy will come with his DOOM64 attire, which will also act as a promotion for DOOM Eternal. What do you think about these unconventional choices?
