PUBG New State pre-registration has surpassed the 40 million mark on iOS, as well as Android, just ahead of launch.
Krafton has confirmed that PUBG New State has crossed the 40 million pre-registrations mark worldwide. Furthermore, the South Korean video game developer will reveal the PUBG New State launch date in Oct. this year.
Meanwhile, PUBG fans can pre-register to download the game on iOS and Android devices. The registrations are currently open in multiple regions including India. The upcoming battle royale game is set in the future. It boasts an impressive array of maps, weapons, and vehicles.
The game is quite different from BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India). Krafton first announced the new title, New State in Feb. of this year. The Indian Government took PUBG off from the Google Play Store in India earlier this year. So, there was a possibility that New State would not arrive in the country.
PUBG: New State Coming To India
Much to the delight of PUBG fans in India, Krafton revealed that the game will be arriving in India. On Sept. 1, Indian players were able to pre-register. The game has already completed its second Alpha test in around 28 countries and has already crossed 40 million in registrations.
“We’ve been able to achieve this level of success because of fan enthusiasm globally and their belief in PUBG Studios work,” Executive Producer of PUBG: New State Minkyu Park said in a statement.
“We’re now focused on taking the valuable feedback we received during PUBG: New State’s Second Alpha Test and polishing the game before its official launch later this year.”
“We are devoting all our resources to ensuring PUBG: New State meets the expectations of our fans, both in terms of entertainment and stability,” said Park.
PUBG New State is set in 2051. It will be offering ultra-realistic graphics, coupled with amazing gameplay with PUBG Mobile and BGMI-like elements. Let us know what do you think about the upcoming game in the comments section below.
