‘Overwatch’ Cosplayer Combines D.Va And Green Lantern In A Unique Mashup

Overwatch cosplayer Eksys combined the first-person shooter’s fan-favorite player character D.Va and Green Lantern and added a street racer flair to it.

Overwatch‘s D.Va and her massive pink MEKA Toki are the closest you can get to a street racer, so Eksys decided to replace the gear with their own Chevy Camaro. The mech isn’t just any regular sports car, given that the whip sports an eye-catching Green Lantern paint job, which could have inspired the cosplayer to show off her version of the superhero.

The customized D.Va suit is green and black, featuring the lantern logo in the center. Green Lantern does not really match Hana Song since his ability to bend light is relatively closer to Echo or Symmetra. Nevertheless, the cosplay just works.

After replacing the background, Eksys transformed herself to several Overwatch maps, while flawlessly pulling off D.Va’s poses in the process. On the downside, an Overwatch and DC Comics crossover event, bringing this skin to reality isn’t likely to happen anytime soon.

As if that weren’t enough, D.Va wasn’t even given a new skin for this year’s Lunar New Year event. There is, however, a new highlight intro for her.

In other words, we will have to make do with cosplays, as well as other fan-made skin concepts until Archives, which usually kicks off in Mar., for our next best chance at getting a new in-game skin for the tank. Share your thoughts about cosplay in the comments section below.
