OnePlus 10 Series Is In The Works, More Nord Series Models Coming?

OnePlus may be gearing up to take the wraps off the long-rumored OnePlus 10 series of smartphones, according to a noted leaker.

Taking to his Twitter account earlier today (Sept. 2), tipster Yogesh Brar has shared key details about the OnePlus 10 lineup. In his tweet, Brar said that the upcoming series includes “polished series 9 models.” In other words, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer could bring a slightly overhauled OnePlus 9 series of smartphones like the OnePlus 10 series into the market.

Furthermore, Brar confirmed that the company will be announcing a myriad of Nord series models. The aforesaid devices, as well as some OnePlus branded accessories, may debut during the company’s next launch, according to Brar.

More details are likely to surface ahead of the series’ official unveiling. However, MySmartPrice claims that it will hit the store shelves on Oct. 22, and retail for INR 53,499 in India. If this speculation proves to be true, the device could sell for about $730 in the United States and other regions. The publication has shed light on the phone’s specifications.

The OnePlus 10 could sport a 6.55-inches Fluid AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 402 PPI. The front shooter sits inside a punch-hole at the top left corner. The screen has a Corning Gorilla Glass for additional protection.

The phone will have a quad-camera setup and an LED flash at the back. The rear-mounted camera module houses a 64MP camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Aside from that, the phone will ship with 128GB of onboard storage. Regrettably, users will not be able to expand the storage capacity.

Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with an octa-core configuration. Moreover, there’s 8GB of RAM. There’s an Adreno 660 GPU for superior graphical performance. Furthermore, the phone features a 4500mAh battery with Dash charge support.
