The hotly-anticipated OnePlus 10 series of smartphones will reportedly come without any major improvements in the design department.
The OnePlus 9RT flagship will be hitting the store shelves in India and China in the coming months. It will be the last OnePlus phone to arrive this year. The OnePlus 10 will probably be the company’s next-generation flagship.
OnePlus has neither confirmed nor denied this speculation. However, the OnePlus 10 series has been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. Aside from that, it has been subject to multiple theories, including a new one that sheds light on its design.
Taking to his Twitter earlier this week, noted tipster Yogesh Brar revealed some vital details about the OnePlus 10 series of smartphones. According to Brar’s tweet, the upcoming series will not adopt a new design. The tipster claims that it will be a polished version of the OnePlus 9 series.
So OnePlus is working on series 10 phones which are being pitched as polished series 9 models. Apart from this a bunch of Nord series models are on the roster as well. They are expected to announce some new accessories at the next launch.

In other words, despite offering some improved specifications, the phone will bear a striking resemblance to the OnePlus 9 series. The lineup was announced back in Mar. this year, featuring the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9R. According to GizmoChina, the OnePlus 10 series could follow the same launch pattern and arrive in Mar. 2022.
In his tweet, Brar suggested that OnePlus is currently hard at works on a new Nord smartphone. Moreover, the company will be unveiling a slew of new accessories during its next launch event. The next OnePlus launch event could take place in Oct. The OnePlus 9RT will reportedly sport a 120Hz AMOLED display along with some sufficiently good specifications.
The 9RT is likely to pack a Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Furthermore, it could offer a hefty 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support will power up the entire system. In the optics department, it is tipped to come with a 16MP front shooter and a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera at the back.
