New OnePlus Phone Gets BIS Approval, Could Be OnePlus 9RT

A new OnePlus phone bearing model number MT2111 has received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, and it could be the OnePlus 9RT.

On Aug. 28, Twitter user Yash (@i_hsay) revealed that a OnePlus device, that could be the 9RT has received the green light from the BIS. Regrettably, the BIS listing did not divulge key specs of the aforesaid handset. However, previous reports have revealed that the 9RT could launch in India in October.

This suggests that the OnePlus MT2111 could be the much-awaited 9RT smartphone. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer could be gearing up to unveil some Nord branded phones with decent specs. It is worth mentioning here that OnePlus has neither confirmed nor denied whether the MT2111 device is the 9RT or a Nord series device.
