According to a leaked YouTube promo video that was posted on the official Motorola channel, it seems like soon there will be a new smartphone joining the Motorola’s G series. Anyways, the video was taken down sometime later. But in that, some time the video had was seen by many viewers. Among them was a YouTube channel called Umair’s Wishlist who had again uploaded the video, which also got the attention of PulseMouse.com. In the 30 second video, they had revealed some of the specifications of the upcoming Moto G Fast smartphone.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, coupled with 3GB RAM. In terms of camera, there are three cameras on the back which include a primary sensor, a macro sensor, and an ultra-wide-angle lens, and this was not explained in the clip. For the selfies, there is a hole-punch in the top left corner of the screen as the front-facing camera.
On the right side of the screen, there are volume and power buttons that have thick corners, especially the ones on the top and bottom. There are no details about the phone’s battery capacity, however, in the video its shown that Moto G Fast will have 2-day battery life. It seems like the Motorola ‘M’ logo on the back is a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone may also have a silver variant as per the video.
According to the PulseMouse.com report, the original video was uploaded on Motorola’s US channel. It has also stated that the phone may feature higher RAM variants with at least 4GB and possibly even 6GB. As per the report, Moto G Fast may cost between $220 (roughly 16,600 INR) to $249 (roughly 18,800 INR). In the promo video, there are no details given about the pricing or availability of the Moto G Fast but it seems like in the coming weeks the phone might be revealed.
