Honor View 20 India Launch Date, Specs, Price And Other Details

Honor unveiled the global variant of its long-awaited Honor View 20 during an exclusive launch event held in Paris.

The Huawei’s popular sub-brand also spilled the beans on the price tag the phone will be carrying along with a slew of other details.

At the recently concluded launch event, Honor showed off the notch-less design of the View 20 smartphone, that doesn’t have bezel either.

The traditional notch is replaced with a hole-punch camera which is placed in the top-left corner of the Honor View 20. The phone’s earpiece can be found on top display bezel.

The Honor View 20 sports a mammoth 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2310×1080 pixels.

The phone packs a powerful 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core SoC, under the hood.

The Honor View 20 is touted as the global version of the Honor V20. The Honor View 20 will offer two options in terms of memory capacity including 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM.

On the photography front, Honor View 20 will house a 25.0MP front shooter with an f/2.0 aperture as well as a fixed focus lens.

There will be a 48.0MP rear-mounted camera comprising a Sony IMX586 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture.

It will offer support for 960fps slow-motion video recording and various other features like LED flash, AI HDR, and autofocus.

On top of that, the View 20 comes with a ToF (time of flight) 3D depth sensor that the company is likely to tout as a third rear camera.

The dual-SIM smartphone will go up for sale in two colors including Chrome Blue and Midnight Black.

The phone will draw its juices from a 4000mAh battery that supports quick charging. Furthermore, the phone will run EMUI 9-based Android 9 Pie OS.

The 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant of the smartphone will set you back EUR 569 (about 46,000 INR).

The 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM model (available only in Moschino Co-Design edition) will retail for EUR 649, which roughly converts to about 52,500 INR.

The Moschino Co-Design edition will be up for grabs in Phantom Blue and Phantom Red color versions.

The Honor View 20 is slated to hit the Indian store shelves on January 29th, but the pre-bookings are already open via Amazon India and HiHonor Store.
