Honor hosted a new product launch conference on May 7, where the Huawei-owned brand unveiled a new tablet, dubbed the Honor Tab X7.
Starting from 899 Yuan (about $140), the new Tab X7 is backed by a robust 5,100mAh battery. It is available in three different configurations.

The WiFi-only model is the lower-end variant, which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, carrying an 899 Yuan (about $140) price tag.
The higher-end model offers the same memory and storage size but will set you back 1,199 yuan (about $185), but it supports 4G LTE as well. The children’s version carries a 999 Yuan (about $155) price tag.
The Honor Tab X7 sports an 8 inch IPS display panel with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of up to 80 percent, with a 4.9mm bezel for a more immersive visual experience. It weighs 325 grams.
The kids’ version of the tablet has inbuilt education-based software and features to help kids in their academic growth. Aside from that, it boasts an impressive array of multi-tasking and integrated multi-window functionality.
The tablet’s display is certified by the Chinese National Eye Engineering Center for Eye Care. It also comes with a Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification.
The tablet is powered by a MediaTek MT8768T processor and runs Magic UI 4.0 custom skin. Upfront, there’s a 2MP selfie camera and a 5MP camera at the back.
