Elon Musk Mocks President Joe Biden For Not Acknowledging Inspiration4

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk mocked President Joe Biden for not acknowledging the aerospace company’s historic, all-civilian mission to orbit.

On September 15, SpaceX launched the first all-civilian mission to orbit. The mission was named Inspiration4.

The goal of Inspiration4′s mission was to raise $200 million to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. By Saturday, it had raised $160.2 million.

After three days in space, the Crew Dragon capsule Resilience splashed down off the coast of Cape Canaveral, Florida in the Atlantic Ocean.

Shortly after the splashdown, Musk congratulated the crew. He also pledged to contribute $50 million to the Research Hospital.

Elon Musk Mocks President Joe Biden

One of Elon’s followers on Twitter asked him, “The President of the United States has refused to even acknowledge the 4 newest American astronauts who helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for St. Jude. What’s your theory on why that is?”

Musk read the tweet and replied that Joe Biden is still sleeping.

Top NASA officials and Musk’s competitors congratulated Musk and SpaceX on the mission’s success. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson congratulated Inspiration4 and said that the mission has helped demonstrate that low-Earth orbit is open for business.

Earlier, Elon said that the government should rarely impose its will upon the people, and, when doing so, should aspire to maximize their cumulative happiness. He added that he would prefer to stay out of politics.

However, his recent comment on President Biden contradicts his previous statement. This isn’t the first time that some called President Biden “sleepy.”

During former President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign, he mocked then-candidate Biden by calling him “Sleepy Joe.”

SpaceX has a good relationship with the federal government. However, the company is also under investigation by the Department of Justice after accusations that it discriminated against job applicants based on citizenship status.
