Twitch Streamer Dr. Disrespect realizes the reason for his permanent ban on Twitch and thus sues the platform because of it.
Doc was permanently banned by Twitch on June 26, 2020, for violating its terms of service. However, the reason for the ban is still unknown.
On August 23, The Two Time compared his current streaming platform to Twitch in a YouTube broadcast. Later, he decided to talk about his notorious and mysterious permanent Twitch ban. Doc shared some details about the situation.
Doc termed the ban as a “roller coaster of emotions” and said that he knows the reason why Twitch banned him permanently.

He said that he can’t talk about it as he can’t talk about that kind of stuff and that a lot of people have queried him whether he knows the reason for the ban and he admitted that he knows the reason.
On knowing why he was banned, he has decided to take legal action against Twitch. However, he didn’t further explain the details.
Doc was quite frustrated while talking about the damage that was caused due to the ban. At the time of his ban, the streamer had more than 23,000 subscribers on Twitch, according to TwitchTracker. He averaged around the same number of viewers as well, which would undoubtedly lead to many donations throughout each broadcast.
Twitch doesn’t explain the reasons for banning a creator. And this time, as usual, they have remained silent. However, it does provide a general statement that said it issues bans when it has “evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
Twitch has received criticism from users for banning creators without providing reasons. Thus on August 9, they released a statement on Twitter saying that they would now provide details to streamers who were issued bans.
