A Cyberpunk 2077 cosplayer made waves by showing off their true-to-life version of protagonist V on Instagram.

The hotly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 was released on Dec. 10, after previously being announced by CD Projekt Red in 2012. While most gamers took to their social media accounts in a bid to express their excitement, a cosplayer celebrated the launch by bringing the game’s main protagonist V to life.

The highly skilled cosplayer looks so much like the leading lady, it appears as if she found her way out of the screen and into real life. The game’s story is set in the futuristic Night City, where players can control V. You can customize the heroine as much as you like.

Artist, model Darina Rarog caused a stir on Instagram after unveiling their epic costume of the game’s character. Photographer Andrey captured the cosplayer leaning against a motorcycle next to her sci-fi katana. The weapon has been created by @krechet_workshop and it looks so accurate that it looks as if it came directly out of the game.

Darina shared another shot, giving her followers a closer look at the costume while flaunting a pistol. Their take on the protagonist’s signature outfit is flawless, featuring the orange lights that line the back of the collar.

The prolific artist also mirrored the Cyberpunk hairstyle, parting her red locks to the side and leaving the left side of their head shaved. After nearly a decade of waiting, avid gamers finally got their hands on Cyberpunk 2077 on Dec. 10.

You can explore Night City on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, but it is worth noting that the true next-gen patch for consoles is slated to arrive until 2021. Watch this space for the latest gaming cosplays.
