Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod has been banned on Twitch for a third time shortly after an FNCS Week 1 victory.
NRG’s Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod was banned on video live streaming service for the third time. The move came just hours after he had a successful day of competition in the 2021 Fortnite Champion Series.
Receiving his third strike on Twitch, Clix was removed from the streaming platform on Feb. 15. The Fortnite superstar is currently one of the biggest names in the scene and often streams to tens of thousands of viewers. He recently surpassed 3.5 million followers on Twitch.

He was first banned back in Nov. 2019 after streaming with Zayn, who has been permanently banned from Twitch. The second strike came in Nov. 2020 as he was one of the big streamers affected by a major DMCA banwave. The reason behind the third ban is still scarce.

This sudden ban came as a shock, considering that he finished first in Week 1 of the 2021 FNCS tournament. “Amazing stream today,” Clix wrote on Twitter hours before the ban. “Peaked at 108k viewers f***ing nuts. Love you guys, played insane today. Appreciate any new followers/subs today.”
