All You Need To Know About The Addison Rae Fragrance (ARF)

TikToker Addison Rae has launched her fragrance line called Addison Rae Fragrance (ARF) featuring water-based scents with ingredients scientifically proven to boost your mood.

With over 85 million followers on TikTok, Addison Rae is one of the most famous content creators. She recently featured in He’s All That, Netflix’s reboot of the 1999 romantic comedy She’s All That. Unfortunately, the film met with mixed reviews and netizens criticized Rae’s poor acting skills.

This year in August, she had launched her cosmetic brand ‘ITEM beauty.’

Moreover, Rae explained that ARF features water-based scents with ingredients scientifically proven to boost your mood. Moreover, she showed videos of the packaging that changes color according to the temperature.

The collection consists of three 30ml fragrances (Chill AF, Happy AF, and Hyped AF) each priced at $40. The perfumes will be available for purchase via TikTok and Instagram.

Lori Mariano, managing partner of Hampton Beauty explained the science behind the fragrances. She said that the ingredients were put in front of respondents, and they read the reaction to the scent, and it affects the part of the brain that has to do with emotion.

“We thought it was such a fun and new way to approach fragrance,” Mariano concluded.

However, this isn’t the first time that an influencer has launched a science-based product. Valkyrae had launched her skincare product ‘RFLCT’ to protect users from blue light pollution emitted from screens. However, netizens pointed out that the product is unscientific and called it a ‘scam.’

The fragrance collection is all set to launch on November 4, 2021.
