Addison Rae made her movie debut with He’s All That, Netflix’s reboot of the 1999 romantic comedy She’sAll That. Much to her chagrin, her first-ever movie is drawing flak on TikTok due to some hilarious continuity errors.
He’s All That was released on August 27 and has garnered mixed reviews. Likewise, Addison Rae’s performance has met with a good, as well as bad reviews. The 20-year-old social media personality pleaded with her fans to give her acting career a chance since it is something she has always been passionate about.
A considerable number of her fans obliged, while others couldn’t stop roasting the movie, especially after some hilarious continuity errors surfaced on the web. There’s a scene where Addison’s character, Padgett Sawyer is talking to another character. However, her mouth doesn’t move at all though she appears to be uttering some words.
Fans aren’t sure how did the scene make the final cut. There’s another equally baffling scene where Addison is giving flyers to other students as she passes them. The scene cuts to an angle where she appears to be handing out anything at all, per Dexerto. She is just making the motion. The scene appears even funnier with the sound effects that the post-production team added.
With 33% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 4.4 on IMDb, He’s All That may not be critically acclaimed, but it may still end up being popular. A lot of people are still watching it, even if it is just to have a good laugh.
