Xiaomi is gearing up to bring a new Redmi-branded smartphone that won’t burn a hole in your pocket. Slated to hit the store shelves shortly, the impending handset bears an intriguing moniker.
Dubbed as the Redmi 8A Pro, the yet-to-be-announced phone was spotted on Xiaomi’s official website with its RF Technology Certification. The Redmi 8A was unveiled on Wednesday, September 25th, and it is quite surprising that its Pro variant is already set to make an appearance.
As part of Xiaomi tradition, it is rather surprising that the inexpensive, entry-level Redmi A series got a Pro model immediately after the launch of the basic variant. It looks like the Chinese electronics giant is following in the footsteps of other manufacturers that roll out the Pro model soon after launching the first version.
It remains to be seen what specifications the Redmi 8A Pro will boast to set itself apart from the vanilla 8A, which sports a 6.22-inches HD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch, packs a Snapdragon 439 chipset with 2/3GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM. On the optics front, the vanilla 8A houses a 12 MP primary camera with 1.4um pixels and f/1.8 aperture, and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. The phone draws its juices from a 5,000 mAh battery.
Given that the Redmi 8A runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie OS, there is a possibility that the Redmi 8A Pro would run that from the day it is unveiled. Stay tuned to AuczarPlus for more engaging news and updates about gadgets, auctions, promotions, and deals that you don’t want to miss,
