Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro Alpha Sale Pre-Bookings to Kick Off in India on July 12

Slated to hit the Indian store shelves on July 17th, the Redmi K20, and Redmi K20 Pro will be made available through Flipkart. Ahead of the imminent launch, Xiaomi has introduced a pre-launch Alpha Sale for the K20 series smartphones.

The aforesaid sale will kick off at 12 pm (noon) on July 12th on the company’s official online store, Mi.com, and Flipkart. This event will allow users to reserve a unit by paying a token amount before the actual sale starts.

Those who fancy getting their hands on the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro even before the sale starts can take full advantage of this pre-launch Alpha Sale. All you need to do in order to pre-book a unit is to pay 855 INR as a booking amount in advance.

These users will be assured a Redmi K20 or Redmi K20 Pro purchase once the first sale starts. More shreds of information about the first sale will be revealed during the launch event. Users can generate a coupon through this sale and redeem it later a guaranteed unit purchase.

Users who fail to redeem will get the booking amount back in their respective Mi.com account, while Flipkart users can apply the coupon to get an extra discount on other product available on the e-commerce platform.

Both, the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 sport a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phones also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. In addition to that, the Redmi K20 Pro also supports hardware DC dimming.

The Redmi K20 Pro packs a powerful Snapdragon 855 SoC along with a highly competent Adreno 640 GPU, under the hood. The phone ships with 8GB of RAM. The Redmi K20, on the other hand, is powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC.

The Redmi K20 Pro houses an AI-powered triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.75 lens, a 13MP secondary sensor with a wide-angle lens, and an 8MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Up front, there’s a 20MP pop-up selfie camera.

The triple rear camera setup on the Redmi K20 features a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor. Both, the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 offer a hearty 256GB of internal storage capacity for you to save your favorite multimedia content.
